She talked about taking a nap on her couch, and how when she took a nap it was always a deep, heavy sleep. One time she came out of one nap and thought she saw something, a form dropping from the ceiling and walking away then disappearing. Then she fell back asleep. Later a friend told her she was concerned for her because her friend figured out, or could tell that there was a portal about 20 feet away from the couch down the nearby hall. And what she saw between naps had something to do with that. Also with why her naps were so heavy and deep. It affected energy flows in the house.

Sometimes when I get home late, like 2 or 3 in the morning, I don’t sleep well in the bed, so I go down to the couch in the living room. More often than not I will sleep deep and have vivid dreams. I wonder if there is something like that somewhere near the couch. But I’m not sure I want to know just yet. That thought can un-nerve me sometimes.

One of the things I’ve noticed over the months and years since President Obama has been in office is the earnestness with which the hosts have been trying to make they’re point. Usually, I agree with their point but sometimes I just don’t have the energy to deal with them. So unless the topic is really compelling, I turn them off.

Something has been occurring to me more when I listen to the talk show people, and that is that they think they can change everything by electing better people. Makes sense. From my limited perspective, watching and hearing what President Obama has done and said, I wonder what he’s really thinking. Now I also like to keep an eye on what one might call ‘Conspiracy Theory’ websites. They’re kind of fun in an odd way. I try not to get too serious with those, but I think they may have a few good points.

So, my occurring thought about talk radio and the conspiracy theories is this; the talk show people think the problems President Obama has caused can be solved with the electoral process. Vote someone new in, repeal Obamacare, etc. Now, President Obama has done a lot of damage to the country financially, politically, and other ways in just three years. Remember that “Hope and Change” phrase? What if it was something more drastic than we imagined? Not just a bad Democrat, but something worse? Is he planning on letting us have another election?

The talk show people sort of talk that way, but still have this idea that another election is what will fix it. I think President Obama is up to something. I’m wondering if he doesn’t want to disable America so much that we can’t do anything on the world stage anymore and are no longer a world power.

The West is in such bad shape financially, Europe and America, both at the same time. Something about that strikes me as odd, I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Time will tell what will happen. I hope we are not the frog in the pot, and the heat has been slowly turned up to where we can’t do anything until we realize it’s too late.

I had purchased a wireless mouse for my laptop and was impressed by the fact that MS got the drivers and updates for it automatically, it made sense that it would do the same for other accessories. So here I am.

Later on, I shall look to see how a MS headset and clearcam will work.

Then Harold Camping began to show up in the news. Predicting the end of the world, eh? This should be good.

As I watched and read articles and comments, it got me thinking about Christianity again. Was it a real and accurate description of this reality? That has been a topic of thought of mine for the past several years. This reality that we are in; what, or whose worldview accurately reflects it? Does religion give us a good picture, or do UFO theories or quantum physics do it? I digress.

As the end date for his prediction came and went, and we were all still here. I remembered how in the past I used to be furious at these sorts of  heresies. Predicting a date for the end of the world is silly at the very least. Doing such a thing just shows one’s ignorance.

Anyway, this was his second attempt at this, 1994 was the first. He “miscalculated” that one. And he’s back for a third try…I’m dumbfounded. He justifies this fiasco by saying it was spiritual, or something like that. Meanwhile people have gotten rid of everything they’ve owned and quit jobs and waited for…nothing. They’ve been victimized by an old fool. I feel sorry for them I hope they’ve learned something and can move on and rebuild their lives, without Harold.

Needless to say, he makes Christianity look bad, even though he doesn’t represent mainstream Christianity. He’s off on his own little limb. I am surprised that as many people follow him as do. Keep you brains and common sense with you, please, and use them!

In college a few things got out for English classes. But most of my creativity went into Photography. Stopping after graduation because making a living became more important that trying to live your dream.

I need to find something that will endure the droughts and doubts.

In the past few years, I have been on a quest. A quest to find out what life is like apart from a dysfunctional relationship with Christianity. The issue was being too emotionally involved, like I had to try and prove something. That attitude, or level of emotional involvement, one can loose one’s objectivity, and I think objectivity is important.. It give you the ability to see things from a better perspective.

Before I decided to stop going to church, the last time I walked into the building that was our church, so to speak, it felt almost painful to be in that building. It was then that I decided to not come back anytime soon. A break was what I needed.

After a few weeks I began to realize my problems of emotional involvement, that they were clouding my whole outlook on all things spiritual. So I thought I had to get to a place where no topic would trigger an emotional response. I had to be detached. That became important.

Since then I have gotten to a place where I am detached from my old emotions. I have also begun an exploration; researching things that I have been interested in for some time now. Particularly UFOs and ETs. It started with reading Erich VonDaniken’s Chariots of the Gods. It got me thinking, did ETs really influence our ancient cultures at best? At worst, did they, have they, are they still  using us for genetic experiments? Lots of people have lots of opinions and ideas. It’s interesting to see where it all goes, or how it all ends. What will 2012 be like?
